Q?How do I know I receive the right information?

Q?What is qualified and non-qualified transactions?
A.

Qualified and non-qualified transactions are different types of transactions classified by card brand like Visa™, Mastercard™ or Discovery™. Different merchant discount fees may apply to each category respectively. For more information, you can check here. Q?Do you charge for consultation?
A.
No. We offer free consultation from scratch or free analysis of your current provider’s statement to make sure that you are getting the right price.
Q?Why can other companies offer “lower” prices?
A.

Some competitors may offer “lower” terminal prices or discount rates, but please be careful of their hidden fees or broken down fees, such as Interchange Differential Fee, annual membership fees,etc.

Q?Do I need a business account?
A.

Not necessarily.

Q?Can I get approved to lease the machine?
A.

Almost Everyone will be approved for the lease.

Q?How can I get the money I’ve collected?
A.

The fund will go to your bank account everyday after you do settlement/closing batch on the machine, either manually or automatically.
We are one of the fastest deposit companies (usually in 7-10 hours, but it may vary from bank to bank.)

Q?What’s the debit (Interac®) transaction fee?
A.

Debit card transactions are charged from 6  cents/transaction to 10 cents/transaction depending on your business.

Q?What’s the credit card transaction fee?
A.

The credit card transaction discount is as low as 1.49%  according to your business.

Q?Do you charge monthly fees?
A.

No, we don’t charge monthly statement or admin fee. You will need to pay for the terminal either to purchase  or lease. We charge data security fee per quarter.

Q?How about surcharges?
A.

We provider surcharge, cash back and many other useful functions on the terminals.

Q?Are there any risks in accepting debit or credit cards?
A.

For pin-based debit cards, there is no risk for you. For credit cards, charge backs ( fund reverse) may occur for unauthorized transactions.

Q?Can I charge my customers for using cards?
A.

You can surcharge your customers for using debit cards but you cannot do so for credit cards.

Q?Am I qualified to accept credit cards?
A.

Everyone who has an acceptable credit record is qualified.

Q?Where are you located?
A.

Our head office is in Markham, Ontario. You can apply and get our service from anywhere in Canada. We can also work with you in person if applicable.

Q?What happens if my machine breaks down?
A.

We offer a warranty for every machine. Warranty fees may apply.

Q?Can I charge customers without their card present?
A.

Yes, you can key in the transaction with the credit card number and expiration date, however the discount rates will be different.
For debit cards, you can only charge with the card present, as the PIN  is needed to complete the transaction.

Q?What about your processing network?
A.

We use the 3rd biggest payment network to process our transactions, Elavon, which serves over 1 million customers.

Q?Are the machines safe?
A.

Every terminal is certified and secured by Interac® and all credit card associations it links to.

Q?Do I need to pay during the application?
A.

An application fee may apply. Please contact us to get it waived.

Q?Will you disclose all the fees before I sign up?
A.

Yes, you will be fully informed about all the fees. We offer a simple and clear agreement.

Q?Do I need change my bank account?
A.

No, we work with ALL major banks in Canada. You don’t need switch your current bank account.
